Flower parade, Tulip fields and Keukenhof Tour

Bulbflower Parade
On Saturday, April 20, at 9.30 a.m., 2024, the Bulb Flower Parade will travel its 40-km route along the main roads from Noordwijk to Haarlem, where it will arrive at about 21.30 hrs. Between 3.00 and 4.00 p.m., the Bulb Flower Parade will pass by Keukenhof Park. The procession will comprise 20 large floats and more than 30 decorated luxury cars, interspersed with a lot of music.
There will be plenty of space along the roadside for the hundreds of thousands of spectators who congregate yearly along the route. The parade will remain on view in Haarlem on Sunday, April 21, until 7.00 p.m.
From Wednesday, April 17, until Friday, April 19, you will have the opportunity to visit the decoration of the floats and cars in the town of Sassenheim.
Flowering bulb fields
After the flower parade visit, we will drive to the flowering bulb fields with Daffodils, Hyacinths, Tulips, etc. We will stop several times to take pictures of you between the fields of flowers. After the Tour through the bulb fields, we may stop for lunch (not included) at a relaxing restaurant near Keukenhof Park.
Keukenhof park
After lunch, we will drive to Keukenhof Park, where nearly 100 bulb growers supply almost 7 million bulbs, to create a new experience every year.
The design changes each year, so if you return to the park after a few years, you will notice that many gardens have been changed.
Of course, every year brings new varieties and colors because the growers, traders, and hybridizers want to introduce their new varieties to the public at Keukenhof, with its 1 million+ visitors, most of them from abroad.
Apart from the outdoor experience, we will also visit the 4 pavilions with Royal names like Juliana, Beatrix, Willem Alexander, and Oranje Nassau.
Inside these pavilions, there are shows with cut flowers, houseplants like Orchids, and of course, bulb flowers
Windmill
At the park, one can find a real Dutch windmill (since 1957) and, of course, for children, there are playgrounds, an animal farm, a pond with a fountain, etc.
Later in the afternoon, we will return to your hotel.
