River Vecht lunch cruise and Castle of Amsterdam Tour

Amstel river and windmill visit
On this tour, we will start from your hotel in Amsterdam and will drive out of Amsterdam along river Amstel with it's beautiful scenery of nature and farm land. We will stop at a windmill to take pictures of the windmill and the statue of painter Rembrandt next to it. We will also pass by some country houses from the 'Golden Century' of Dutch prosperity (17th century) , when rich traders from Amsterdam, build their summer houses along rivers like Amstel and Vecht.
Vecht river
After driving along Amstel river, we will drive south-east to Vecht river region.
The Vecht river is by far the most beautiful river of the Netherlands. We will start our tour along the river at a little historic town called 'Loenen aan de Vecht'. Very picturesque!
Private, guided lunch

After a quick stop for pictures, we will head to the location where the salon boat will be waiting for us. At 11.00 a.m., the captain will await you at his salon boat for a private lunch cruise (so, just you and your family or friends) along river Vecht, passing by the most gorgeous country houses and estates from the 'Golden Century', build by rich Amsterdam traders. Along the river, you can find the most beautiful gardens with Hydrangeas flowering ,all Summer. The lunch cruise will take 2 hours. During the cruise, you will pass by a town called Breukelen ( Brooklyn, New York got it's name in 1646 from immigrants from Breukelen). After Breukelen, the boat will continue to pass by Castle estate 'Nijenrode', which is a business university nowadays. After Nijenrode, the boat will return to the location where you started the cruise ,the guide and car will be waiting for you there at 1.00 p.m.
Lunch will include :
Luxury sandwiches, fruit salade and coffee and tea.
If you would like, the captain will provide alcoholic beverages like, wine, champagne, etc. In that case, there will be extra costs charged at the end of the cruise.
Gardens and Castle De Haar
After the cruise, the tour will continue towards Castle De Haar, where we will visit the gardens (135 acres) and will we pay a visit to the part of the castle, which is open to the public.
After this visit to the castle, we will return to your hotel.
