Tulip farm visit
On this tour we will start at your hotel in Amsterdam for a private, guided tour to a Tulip flower farm south of Amsterdam. There, you will get explanations and learn all the backgrounds of growing Tulips on the fields.
It’s very interesting to learn how the bulbs which have grown in the fields, eventually end up in your garden or in a vase in your living room!
Flowering bulb fields
After this visit we will drive to the flowering bulb fields with Daffodils, Hyacinths, Tulips, etc. We will stop several times to take pictures of you and your family or friends in between the fields of flowers. After the Tour through the bulb fields we might stop for lunch (not included) at a restaurant near Keukenhof park.
Keukenhof park
We will visit Keukenhof with its 7 million flowering bulbs (not all flowering at the same time), beautiful trees and wonderful landscaping. For this 32 ha/80 acres park we will need at least 3 hours so please wear comfortable shoes!
Apart from the beautiful outdoor gardens, there are also pavilions /greenhouses with beautiful exhibitions with:
- Bulbs (Tulips, Daffodils, Hyacinths, Amaryllis, etc)
- Cut flowers (Roses, Gerbera’s, Carnations, Lilies, Chrysanthemums, etc)
- Potted plants (Orchid Phalaenopsis, Anthurium, Hydrangea, etc.)
Windmill
In the park, you can find a Typical Dutch Windmill as well.
For children, there are playgrounds, an animal farm, a pond with a fountain, etc. This park is more beautiful than words can express.
Later in the afternoon, we will return to your hotel.
