Flower auction and Hydrangea Tour

We will meet you at your hotel at 7.00 a.m.

On this private tour, we will first drive by car to Aalsmeer, where flower auction 'Royal Flora Holland' is located, some 35 minutes driving.
This flower auction is the second largest building in the world, with over 20 million sq. feet of built floor area.
On 17 digital 'clocks,' the flowers and plants are sold 5 days a week.
Before the auction starts, we will visit the cold storage department, where Hydrangea cut flowers are stored at night.
After that, we will visit the vast flower distribution zone, with the only
 flower-high-way-of-the-world, where cut flowers are distributed to all buyers and wholesale exporters.
We will visit a wholesale center, which sells smaller quantities to florists who can't buy the large quantities offered at the auction.
At this wholesale center, they can buy floral supplies and pottery and cut flowers and plants.
After this visit, we will start visiting Hydrangea cut flower growers.
