Flower auction
Our guided tour commences at your hotel at 6.30 a.m.
We will then drive to Aalsmeer, where flower auction 'Royal Flora Holland' is based.
Royal Flora Holland Aalsmeer is the world's largest trade building, and more than 14.000 people find jobs with the cooperative flower auction and at the flower and plant wholesale exporters.
The auction is divided into 2 sections, one for cut flower distribution and one for plants.
We will head for the cut flower department, where we will visit the cold storage rooms, where Peony cut flowers are stored at night before the auction starts.
After that, we will look at the distribution of cut flowers (Peonies, Roses, Sunflowers, etc. ).
Wholesale center for florists and garden centers.
After the auction visit, we will visit a commercial wholesale center where florists can buy smaller volumes of floral supplies, plants, and cut flowers.

Peony breeders, propagators, and growers
After the flower auction, we will drive into the province of Noord Holland to visit the show gardens of Peony propagators and peony cut flower growers.
